A classmate remembers going to Jim’s house where they had a few beers and listened to Neil Diamond together. Their favorite song was “Red Red Wine.” Jim’s mom Ellie would tell them stories of Deadwood, South Dakota, where she grew up. Jim had his mom’s sense of humor. He died too young.
