Penny was such a lovely person. One classmate recalls that Penny was one of her first Minnesota friends. She remembers they bought matching outfits one summer so they could look like twins. Additionally, Penny’s French heritage fascinated her.

Penny was one of the sweetest and kindest person I’ve known. I remember sitting on a dock in Brainerd with her and many close friends enjoying our youth. She is remember fondly after all these years
