Marcia died in 2020 at the age of 69.
She was a witty, intelligent, talented woman and a loyal friend, who succumbed to ovarian cancer on April 1, 2020. After graduating from St. Cloud State University, Marcia taught elementary music in Blooming Prairie, MN. She then moved on to a career in the insurance industry. After moving back to Minneapolis she met and and married Daniel Casperson. They welcomed one daughter, Amy.
From a very young age Marcia was a performer. She played percussion in high school, enjoyed singing for countless events including friends weddings. The performance she was most proud of was playing the lead in her high school senior play, The Pajama Game.
During her retirement, Marcia explored her many interests of decorating, gardening, astrology, computer games, sports, history and caring for her Pomeranian dog. Marcia is survived by her daughter and fiancé; nieces and nephews, and grand puppies.
