Howard died in 2017 at the age of 65.
Survived by sister Sheryl Polski; and his beloved Sheltie Dogs.
A classmate recalls fun growing-up memories in Howie’s basement playing pool and poker. He was truly a nice person and no one ever heard a bad word about him. Howard’s father and uncle owned Market Barbecue for decades. After many years of working there, Howie left the business and put his knowledge and skills to work for Famous Dave’s Barbecue.

He was dedicated to Dave's and worked very hard while providing ideas and support to others. He was a quiet gentleman who had his own way of getting his point across. I will truly miss this lovely soul. I wish he had retired, gotten away from the stress and had a chance to enjoy his golden years. My heart is broken for Sheryl, his many friends, and his beloved Sheltie girls.
