Comments from classmates and friends:
>A classmate wrote: Jeff had such an amazing smile and a big heart to go with it. He loved taking photos, music, all sports, sports trivia, and his son, Aaron. Jeff was one of the six original RumDums. He was great friends with Tommy, Gary, Garber, David, and all the rest of the wild and crazy Jewish boys. Many miss him.
>I am shocked and extremely saddened by hearing of Jeff's death. While we only knew each for a brief period during 1997 and 1998, I enjoy knowing him. I hired him to work for me in the accounting department of a property management firm. I particularly remember the love and affection he had for his son. May his loved ones find peace and comfort and lovely ways to ease their grief.
>With a relationship that began over 20 years ago when Jeff became a member of our fantasy baseball league, he and I became good friends despite not meeting face-to-face more than a couple of times in all those years. We shared a common interest in baseball, college basketball and football, and John Kruk. I'll miss his wry sense of humor and his thoughtful ways. We are all diminished by his loss.
>Jeff, Is this your way of getting attention? I think back on those days at Fern Hill and Central Jr. High and Park High, and your curly (albeit balding) dark hair and your apartment in Kenwood with the rat in the toilet, and the gumballs at Herbie's house, and your cynical yet wry attitude (didn't we all have that?), and, of course, your fun approach towards life... you were lucky to have a great son that you could take so much pride in... Put another Rum Dum team together on the other side and have it ready for us...the world's a lonelier place without you...
