Marc Kramer, of Minneapolis, died in 2023 of pancreatic cancer at the age of 71.

Marc was kind, funny, inquisitive, industrious, and creative. He gave of himself generously as a champion and cheerleader for everyone he knew. He enjoyed being with people and was masterful at conversation, and always adept with a good quip. He was beloved by his family and cherished friends, many of whom were lifetime companions.

For 25 years, he was founder and CEO of ProjectWorks, focused on corporate communications, entrepreneurial projects and fostering creative talent.

Marc is survived by his wife Cynthia Hechter Rollins, stepson Coleman Rollins and daughter-in-law Alona Trekhlib, two brothers and their families, and many friends.

This is how Marc described his life:

“I tried to live a good life. I was blessed with a wonderful family and numerous friends who know I love them. I had an exciting business career working with gifted "work-horses” — they know who they are! I was lucky to spend the last 20 years with the love of my life, Cynthia, and my stepson Coleman and daughter-in-law Alona. I look forward to seeing you on the next trip!”

Comments from classmates and friends:

>A great guy, filled with so much humanity. I could listen to Marc for hours. Such an interesting, passionate, creative, sincere man.

>He was sweet, caring and loveable with a dry wit and a twinkle in his eyes--truly a mensch who will be missed by many. May his beautiful smile continue to shine down on all who loved and admired him.

>Cynthia, after your beautiful 20 year relationship including your recent marriage, it is hard to even imagine your broken heart. Your updates to all of us were so very much appreciated. Thank you for all of your care, support & unending love of Marc in his last part of his journey. He was such an incredible human being.
