Comment: Greetings to all:

I am enclosing two photos: one of Margie and me at Yellowstone Park- a favorite place of ours. And, one of our four children (Erin, Leif, Neil and Ilse) and our one Italian son-in-law, Vincenzo. Your challenge is to pick out Vincenzo, il mio genero preferito!!

Margie and I met at Stanford Medical School, she having attended Golden Valley High School. We share a specialty in pediatrics, with a particular interest in children in difficult circumstance. Margie practices at HCMC and I am at Fairview-University. As a pediatrician I have been fortunate to have helped a number of classmates with their children- a true blessing!

St. Louis Park was a wonderful place to have grown up. The friendships we formed, the education we gained and the community that sustained us were second to none. I am so looking forward to seeing many of you soon!

I can't close without mentioning a cause dear to my heart. Since our 20th reunion we have sponsored a scholarhip for a deserving Park graduate. I am proud that ours was the first class to do so, spurring other classes to follow our lead. Please consider helping grow that scholarship with a donation in honor of our class.

Marital status: Single
Occupation: Supervisory Paraprofessional and Coach
Comment: I am still living in SLP.  I was an accountant for about 12 years while the economy was in bad shape (much like now) and was bouncing around to different companies, as each was going out of business.  In 1987, I started working at Hopkins High School, in a supervisory position, while continuing looking for work in accounting. Ended up loved working with high school kids and have continued to work there since, even as my position continued to change within the school. In 1982, I started coaching junior high soccer in SLP, it was a coed program.  Then in 1984, we got it changed into separate genders.  I also coached junior high boys and girls "B" squad basketball at SLP from 1987 until 2008.
In 1986, I also started coaching soccer at SLPHS, where I served as sophomore coach, JV coach and goalkeeper coach, as an assistant for the girl's soccer team, under Mr. Wold.  Upon his retirement, in 1991, I became the Varsity Head Coach, thru 1994.  Due to the stress involved in head coaching at the high school, I resigned and went back to coaching the junior high girls program, where I still remain coaching.  In 1994, myself and the SLP boy's varsity coach at the time, Terry Leiendecker, formed the SLP soccer association, which is the traveling and in-house soccer program in St. Louis Park.  We grew from 137 players the first year, to around 900 players currently registered.  I served as treasurer for the first 10 years.  I am currently the field scheduler and liaison with the city's Park and Rec department.  I continue to coach and referee in the SLP traveling soccer program.  I also serve as a volunteer on the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association's Competitive Committee and Technology Committee.  So I stay very busy, which I think helps to keep me young.

Looking forward to seeing everyone who can attend our 42nd/60th birthday reunion.  Happy 60th Birthday everyone.

My wife Susan and I have been in Herndon, Virginia (near Wash. DC) since 1988.   Our daughter, Marielle, just got married in May and will be moving to San Diego.  I've been a geotechnical engineer since 1973 and currently a VP/Division Manager for a large employee-owned environmetal engineering firm.  Work has taken me to some interesting places throughout the US, as well as Israel, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia and elsewhere.  I'm still having fun with work, enjoying life, and don't have plans to retire anytime soon!
