Comment: I moved to the Boston area in 1980 and now only come back to MN  to visit sick relatives, go to funerals, my brother's in May, and maybe go to the State Fair.  Although I will never be a townie out here,  I can eat lobster with the best of them   My daughter, age 24, teaches High School English, my son, also age 24,  spends summers in Alaska managing a salmon processing plant and lives in Seattle the rest of the year.  My husband and I spent our 34th anniversary in Venice this spring, my favorite city.  Have a wonderful reunion!

Comment: I was telling my class one day, "I was born in St. Louis Park, I went to Brookside, Central and graduated from St. Louis Park, I've been teaching at Park since 1979, I now live in St. Louis Park, and my kid goes to St. Louis Park"  A kid raises his hand and says, "Man, are you in a rut."  I couldn't argue with him.  One of these days I'll grow up and get out of here.

Wish I could have made it to the reunion!

After high school, I went to x-ray and nuclear

medicine technology schools at the VA in Mpls. I worked in Nuclear Med at the VA for 37yrs. I retired and DJ & I moved to the beautiful Black Hills of So Dak...we live a few miles from Mt. Rushmore.

I accidently ended up getting a part time job as a x-ray tech in a tiny hospital in Custer, SD. Been there for 3 years now.

DJ and I have 2 adult sons, both married..one

is in Texas (with our only grandchild so far) the other is in Burnsville.

We enjoy camping, exploring the Black Hills and have just started some ballroom dance classes.

Comment: I worked in education in Minneapolis for over twenty years.  I now work for the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community and where many hats.  I have five adult children and 10+ grandchildren.  I was also a long term foster parent so actually had 7 kids.  I don't plan on retiring anytime soon because I like what I do and enjoy keeping busy.

Comment: My husband Jeff and I have been married 32 years and have two great kids, George 20, and Becca 18. We live in Golden Valley and I work at Methodist Hospital in St.Louis Park where I have worked for almost 20 years as a cardiac nurse. I'll be working for some more years since both kids will be at UW Madison, George as a junior and Becca as a freshman. I love living so close to SLP and seeing old friends.
