Comment: Haven't been to a reunion in long time, but got to wondering about classmates today and found this site. So many have passed. After high school went to University of Minnesota (Go Gophers) graduated with a degree in math and secondary education. Wanted to teach, but ended up working for Northwestern Bell, US West, Qwest, and CenturyLink for 28 years in various management positions before the option of enhanced retirement (downsizing). To young to not work so taught math (7th & 8th grade) for a year, then moved on to manage a newly built Goodyear service center. Did that for about 3 yrs when the owners wanted to make a change, so moved on to a company that sub contracts the installation of medical equipment in hospitals which I continue to do parttime still as well as sub at local HS here in Isle a small town of about 750 people on SE side of Mille Lacs. Life is good here in the Minnesota forest land here with my wife of 46 yrs. Have 5 grown sons and eight grandkids and one great grandchild. Well hope to see you at our next reunion would be our 50th WOW.

Comment: We moved back to Minneapolis (Maple Grove) 7 years ago from Memphis, Tennessee.  We are in a second marriage (38 years) and have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.  It's wonderful to be back in the great white north, except when it's the great white north but I do love Minnesota.  My husband is a saint, mostly because he puts up with me.



It's been fun lately reconnecting with some of the "girls" from our class. It is hard to believe it's been 50 years because in my heart I still sometimes feel 18!  Unfortunately I've shrunk a bit in height and had my knees done a 1  and 1/2 years ago so I guess my body doesn't feel 18 all the time!  I'm guessing we all feel a little bit like that.  It will be good to see people and hear about their lives in the last 50 years.

Waited 20 years to see some of you and I was in the same bldg!  How did I miss some of you!  Was it just me?  Hope everyone had a fun night.  For me it was 8 months of fun!  Our committee was the best!  Our class is the best!  Thanks Phil and The Park Tavern...You were great!  Classmates, Don't forget to click on the scholarship link and help us out...Every little bit helps!

OMG is it really 40 years? I don't feel that old...usually. Where the heck does one get a "THEN" photo? I have lived in Arizona for 33 yrs and hate the summers more every year...they are gross. I have been married for almost 26 yrs. I have two children from a previous marriage, both of whom live in Arizona as well. I have my own business out of my home doing medical transcription. My husband retired a yr ago and I love having him home...really! Looking forward to the reunion but bracing myself for the memorial portion.

Comment: Hi Everyone!

Killing three birds with one stone if I've uploaded the photos correctly.  The "then" is me, Gail Johnson Berggren and Cindy Mayne Dahle Mark at Sue Nickerson's wedding in 1972 (I think it was 72!) The "now" is Me, Cindy and Gail at Cindy's 2007 wedding.  The three of us still get together as often as possible and it's great to have friends that go back further than 40 years!  The oldest are the best!

I will not be able to attend the reunion this year, but have enjoyed reading the messages of those that have already posted. 

Have lived in the Des Moines area for 15 years (hard to believe) but hope to retire elsewhere...like Colorado Springs. Meanwhile I'm busy working for Metlife. My husband Dan and I will be celebrating our 30th in January. (that doesn't seem possible either!) Our daughter Amy married last November and lives in Houston TX.  She's a math teacher (she didn't get any of that aptitude from me!) Hope everyone has a great time at the reunion!
